About Imperial Builders

Imperial Builders & Supply was founded in 1966 by Ralph Faircloth, Sr., a foliage nurseryman. The office and warehouse for IB&S was on Cleveland St. in Apopka in with the nursery. Ralph’s brother managed the company until 1971 when Ralph sold his nurseries and IB&S to Stratford of Texas (Green Thumb). In 1974 Ralph Faircloth, Jr. and Mike Grandey purchased IB&S from Stratford. A new office and warehouse was constructed on Park Ave. in Apopka. Mike bought Ralph out in 1982 and immediately brought on Pete Fries as Vice President/General Manager. In 2008 the current office, sales room, warehouse and fabrication facility was built on General Electric Rd. in Plymouth, just west of Apopka.

IB&S currently has 17 employees and deals in retail sales of nursery irrigation supplies and equipment, greenhouse building supplies and equipment, fabrication and welding, greenhouse and warehouse manufacturing and greenhouse and warehouse construction.

Closed Saturdays and Sundays

Closed for the following holidays:

• Monday Memorial Day
• July 4th Independence Day
• Monday Labor Day
• Thursday & Friday Thanksgiving
• Christmas Day & New Years Day & the week between.
• We are also closed for inventory the 1st day we return from the Christmas holidays, which is usually the 2nd, 3rd or 4th of January.
